Here Are 3 Reasons Why
Scenario #1—
You love working with children and you don’t see any other career path other than this. But you also understand that it can also be quite challenging for you as a child care professional. You need some credentials so parents would trust you.
You have scoured the web for information. You’re out there looking for a certificate program. And you want this program to match your passion and your lifestyle.
Sure, you’ve considered going back to school at one point but time and money are against you at the moment.
What are you going to do about it?
Scenario #2—
You own and run a daycare center. You want to give your students and their parents the best learning experience there is.
One thing you’ve learned over time is that investing in your staff of teachers can take your school a long way. You know that trained teachers will make an impact on children and their parents.
But the question is, where should you enroll your teachers? And how do you know if the teacher training program that you’re looking at is the right fit for your team?
The National CDA Training course is the best option if these scenarios feel familiar. Our goal is to support teachers. The training materials offer needed skills to become successful in the classroom. It can also help advance your child care career.
We offer child development classes that are fun, innovative, and science-backed. Teachers get exposure to many situations thanks to our scenario-based learning approach.
If you’re looking to augment your skills. this training is for you. If you own a daycare center and need improved performance, bring this training to your staff.
Here’s those three reasons why.
One-Of-A-Kind “Scenario-Based” training
Most available training programs teach you what you should know. What you really need is to simulate an actual classroom environment, what to do and how to do it.
It’s important to experience scenarios that happen inside and outside the classroom. What do you do if it’s an infant’s first time attending class and she’s having separation anxiety? What if the mommy wants to nurse her child but you don’t have a nursing space? What if you had a girls’ night out one Friday and you want to share some pictures on social media? What pictures should you share?
Do these questions sound familiar to you?
A scenario-based learning approach imitates real-life situations. Getting a handle on this approach helps you be professional at all times. Scenario based learning will train your brain how to respond in different situations.
They’ll train you to form habits that make you ask the question, “Is this the solution when facing this situation?”
This learning approach teaches your brain to find the best response in a challenging situation. It forces you to develop habits and skills at a professional level.
24/7 On-Demand Lessons & Support
If you decide to bite the bullet, the next question is, “what is the class schedule ?”
Looking to find a program that gives you access to lessons whenever you want and wherever you are? Online training is the way to go.
Don’t spend hours studying materials that don’t help create a more engaged classroom. There are plenty of training materials out there. But they are either not what you’re looking for or require expensive subscription fees.
A program that is tailor-fitted to your needs, will give you answers to your child care questions. So you can solve problems in an instant.
What’s even more important is the community support you receive to become more effective at what you do. And you get this support 24/7!
Aligned with CDA Guidelines
The program you choose must meet the Council for Professional Recognition guidelines. It should not be from a training center that is not in compliance.
To become a CDA, there are 120 hours of training in early childhood development (ECE) needed. Work experience of 480 hours together with a professional portfolio is also required.
Most of the time, these requirements can fulfill close to a semester’s worth of credits in an ECE degree program.
