CDA Credential Requirements in New York
Childcare licensing in New York is administered by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). Licensed childcare centers and school-age child care programs must comply with Part 418 (Childcare Centers) and Part 414 (School-Age Child Care Programs) of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations. New York’s Quality Rating and Improvement System is QUALITYstarsNY, operated by the Early Care and Learning Council.
